The great thing about soy candles is they are a renewable resource, and at a time where we are all looking for ways to protect the environment, they are a really good idea. Many candles are petroleum products in today's retail stores, and when they burn they generate harmful green house gases. Soy candles are made from soybean oil and are therefore environmentally friendlier and far less detrimental than the petroleum based ones.

The pan may be heated by using medium fire till all soy wax is completely melted. If you want to make candles with different types of colors, you can mix wax dye with suitable color combination. Now you can transfer the molten soy wax slowly in the jar and with the help of a wooden stick place the wick in the centre. Wait for few minutes till the wax become solid and it can be trimmer to any size.
